I love how these volleyball cookies turned out. I have been wanting to try them and finally got a chance. I think they are my favorite sports ball. It definitely looks like a volleyball. I played around with them and found 3 lines to be the perfect look. Four lines were just too much for this size cookie. I also love that they are blue. You can do white, which is traditional, but why not have fun with the colors.

Okay i love volleyball and i was looking for a creative wqay to give a gift to my volleyball team, but im not a very good artist. But i tried these volleyball cookies failed on 2 cookies but in the end they are gorgeous and the team will love them thank you!!!
I am so glad the volleyball cookies worked out for you. I had a few mess ups before I got it right too, but overall this is my favorite sports cookie to make.
Hello! I found these cookies on a random google hunt and I love them! I was looking for something to bake for my volleyball team and this seems perfect! Can you please tell me what kind of icing you used to make the lines? ... one of those squeeze tubes?

I use royal icing for the lines. I make it with the Wilton recipe, but instead of 3 tbsp. Meringue Powder, I use 1 Meringue Powder and 2 tbsp. corn syrup.
